About

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. Prior to joining NCKU, I was a postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) Institute at University of Gothenburg. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Duke University. My research interests center on the transition and sustainability of democracy. To address these, my current research focuses on parties’ accountability strategies and features of legislative institutions.
